We’re Hiring: Shop Supervisor

Location: Mount Hagen, Western Highlands Province

Business Unit: Remington Hi-Tek (A Division of Remington Technology)

About the Role

Remington Hi-Tek, the retail division of Remington Technology, is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Shop Supervisor to lead our Mount Hagen store. This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch role. You’ll be on the floor, leading from the front, driving sales, managing your team, and making sure the store runs like a well-oiled machine. If you understand that retail is about energy, execution, and results, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead daily shop operations across sales, stock, and customer service
• Drive team performance to meet and exceed sales targets
• Maintain high standards in merchandising, cleanliness, and store presentation
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and support stock control and stocktakes
• Ensure team compliance with company policies and operational standards

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in technology retail (phones, laptops, electronics) is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and inventory control
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
