Overview

Remington Hi-Tek operates from our head office and main retail outlet in Lae & Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, with additional branches located across major provincial centres. This policy outlines how we manage order processing, shipping, and delivery for customers purchasing products from our website.

Delivery Coverage

We currently provide delivery services to:

  • Existing B2B (Business-to-Business) clients across Papua New Guinea.
  • Individual customers (B2C) who place online orders and choose to collect their items from a designated Remington Hi-Tek branch or, where we are not located, from a DHL partner agent.

Delivery Options

a. B2B Customers (Account Holders & Non-Account holders)

Orders for existing business clients will follow the standard delivery and invoicing arrangements already in place with Remington Hi-Tek or The Remington Group. For non-account holders, they can create an account to be eligible to make a purchase online. Our logistics team will coordinate delivery directly to your registered business address or as agreed per contract terms.

b. Individual Customers (Non-Account Holders)

For individual online orders:

  • Customers must select their preferred branch or DHL collection point during checkout.
  • Orders will be shipped from our central warehouse or nearest branch once payment is confirmed.
  • When the order arrives, customers will receive an email and SMS notification confirming readiness for collection.
  • Customers must present valid ID and proof of purchase to collect their items.

Delivery Charges

Delivery and handling fees are calculated based on two factors:

  • Zone rate (province or region)
  • Weight and size of the package

Indicative delivery rates are automatically calculated at checkout. For large or heavy orders, our team may contact you directly with an updated freight cost before dispatch.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times (from Port Moresby dispatch):

  • Port Moresby & Central Province: 1–3 business days
  • Lae, Kokopo, Mt Hagen: 3–5 business days
  • Other provinces: 5–10 business days (depending on location and DHL schedule)

Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, flight delays, or remote area accessibility, which are common in PNG. We'll keep customers informed if delays occur.

Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you'll receive a tracking number via email or SMS. Tracking is available through Remington Hi-Tek's online portal or DHL's tracking service for external routes.

In-Store Collection

Customers who select the 'Collect In-Store' option can pick up their order from the nominated Remington Hi-Tek branch.

Orders not collected within 14 days of arrival may be returned to our warehouse, and re-delivery fees may apply.

Damaged or Missing Items

If an order arrives damaged or incomplete:

  • Report the issue to info@remingtonhitek.com.pg within 48 hours of collection.
  • Include your order number, photos (if applicable), and a brief description.
  • We'll review and resolve the matter promptly in line with our product warranty and return policy.
